Can someone please put me out of misery and tell me if this is possible or not and if it is how to go about it? Thanks.

I put the custom fw back on and it came back again so it is definitely the custom firmware causing it.

My box this the time is an hour ahead of the current time in the humax guide,so its recording everything an hour earlier than it should.

If i telnet to the box and run the date command its gives the correct date and time and picks up it is now bst.

This is the first time i have switched in to bst with custom firmware and i have never seen the issue before so i am wondering if its related?

Has anyone got any idea how to fix it?

Q. how do you get to see the recordings made by your PVR, I mean to be able to have the file and convert it to MP4?
I can see the media server in windows but when I open it there is no files in the library.. but there are recorded files on the internal HDD of the icord which play okay.. over DLNA..

In both cases I got the media controller to connect to the humax box successfully however I just cannot get a reliable transfer. After between 0.5 and 70mB of a 2G copy to PC I just get bad blocks. I have tried various DL block sizes, rebooted box and pc’s but no success. I assume it is just the usb driver on the box side causing these issues. I have tried the box in game mode and normal mode and even though I can sometimes get a fast download of 12mB/s as soon as it hits about 72mB I hit bad blocks and it never recovers. I even resorted to the Humux elinker program but that just crashed the PC after a few minutes of transfer.

Any help much appreciated.

The media server is great and allows streaming to apple or android tablet around the house.

If you are thinking about doing this, I’d say get the key USB and go it ASAP.
