The 2008 version was dreadful. I bought my 9300T second hand a year later, very cheap, just a few days before Humax released an update (1.00.18) to tackle complaints that were still being expressed.

Zip file is for latest version (1.00.26 from 2011) which has the added feature of not reliably recording an episode of a series when two or more episodes of a series are broadcast in consecutive time slots. Some people reported that they reverted back to version 1.00.23 due to this.
The main improvement was supposed to be the late recording starts not being so late. Some initially found it better, but I suspect that may have been just initial luck for the initial programmes recorded with the new software. On average mine were worse with the update.

Can anyone provide the latest software update for the 9300T? I bought one off EBay and it's running an old version from 2008.

We have a HDR1800T and a Sony KDL32P30xx. The telly is old but very good picture. Is its age the reason it we now cannot get Iplay.? Alternatively, is it a pairing problem? Perhaps it needs new software? Why doesn't Humax update the software remotely? Should We buy a new television with Iplayer installed and just use the Humax to record things?

The iPlayer app is produced by the BBC and I think they make the decisions about what devices are supported. According to the BBC web site the HDS-2000T is no longer supported. If you are happy with the HDR-2000T as a PVR and the Sony as TV then the best solution might be to buy a basic Amazon Firestick (currently on offer for less than £25 to give you a range of streaming channels including iPlayer and ITVX.

Hi Forum,

I still using my 4OOOT, bought it new when the model was already getting old. It still mostly works well, but it hasn't had a software update since May 2022, so has HUMAX stopped supporting this now?

I accepted that the ITV player no longer works with the 4000T, but recently some of the player's have had trouble loading and are not appearing at all on the "humax players" screen, including YouTube causing much frustration. The 4000T is connecting to the internet in the settings, but I'm not getting the usual pop up on screen message saying so since having these issues, seems unstable, is it a loading issue perhaps? Any help or advice would be very welcome, thanks.

No need to apologise; it isn't something that is immediately obvious.

Somewhere in the forum there are photos of an open 5000t that clearly shows that the mainboard actually says 4000t. No idea if later versions had different hardware.
