My you view box will not turn on from the stand by mode. Have tried turning off at mains and leaving for a while but makes no difference.
    Any ideas please?
    Thanking all in advance

Is there power to the unit? Any sign of life? If not, it's worth trying it on another outlet, just in case.

Otherwise, try unplugging it completely for awhile, and also pull out the ethernet connection. Then reconnect the power (not the ethernet) and try to start it. If no luck, the next step is to ring Humax (if still under guarantee) to arrange a replacement. Maddening, I know - happened to me twice, with the T1000, so I sympathise

There is power to it as the stand by light is on so will give it a go turning off with Ethernet removed.
Fortunately I registerd it with Humax for extra years warranty. I've only had it 18 months.
Did you get yours replaced? I only expected a repair!

My first one was replaced - when the second one died, the guarantee had expired. Humax have a very convenient exchange system, but the replacement may be a refurbished box, as mine was. And you do lose your recordings, so it's a real pain, but better than a kick in the teeth I guess

    Good luck.
