Hello, newbie here. I have a humax HDR 1000S with a HDMI output, but an old tv with only a coaxial input. Is there any way that I can use this tv with this humax?

I have received the modulator recommended today, but there doesn't seem to be any common connector between it and the humax box - no scart on the humax and no hdmi on the modulator.

Speaking as an owner of the HDR1000S, there is definitely a SCART on that box as I am using it for a RF modulator. So what box do you have?

Picture of rear here, Scart socket under the composite video (yellow) and analogue audio (red/white) rca phono connections. These can also be used with a modulator.

Apologies, my error, swapped my new HDR 1000S for an existing box, so gave you the wrong box ID. Guess, I'll just swap them back, unless there is a solution to connecting this HB 1000S to this old coax only tv?

Why not use the analogue audio (red/white) rca phono connections on the rear - they can connect to the modulator?

Oh, ok, I didn't realise that you could use the phono leads for video - thought they were just audio! Much appreciate all your help. All is now working fine, thank you.
