    Dear Susan

If you have tried the reset, altered the port information and WiFi protocol and the issue persists then this indicates an issue with the broadband or YouTube.

    Best Regards,

    Robert

My apologises Susan, I should have just tried it before (in my defence I am busy with other stuff) but Youtube appears to be broken via the 1800/2000T, and I suspect the HDR T2 as well but have not checked. I cannot get any stream to playback at all - will highlight to Humax Towers.

    Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Looking for a fix for You-tube as I set up 2000T last night. All o/k , apart from You-tube which shows the player but has a timer spinning round and round.
Contacted customer support and they suggested (today) it was a You tube streaming problem ?

my set up is wi-fi dongle with BT infinity

On an HDR-FOX T2 with 1.03.12 youtube is now back as it was and mine has played the 3 'Most Popular' OK.
But on HDR-FOX T2 1.02.20 Youtube remains stuck on loading any video.

My HDR-2000T is boxed up for a month. Is Youtube on HDR-2000T that now OK for anyone?

Barry, presumably you are referring to an HDR T2 that is using 1.03.12? I tried to break my 1.03.12 but it is working with Youtube fine. I suspect I tried it on one of my connected 1.02.20 when it failed previously.
I find this very odd as I thought that the Humax Youtube outage applied to all Humax STBs.

Unfortunately, although I do have additional Humax devices in storage I do not have the time to try them out.

I have just tried an HDR-FOX T2 with 1.03.12, and YouTube is still broken for me.

Edit: Also still broken on HD-FOX T2 with 1.02.31.
