Hi there guys and girls, I have recently purchased the HMS 1000T and I can't find ANYWHERE about programming the remote to control the TV (LG), any help would be greatull...
Apart from that I'm impressed by it, it's a nice looking box with fantastic features, if anybody has it do you have any tips...

    Welcome to our Forum

Whilst primarily aimed at the UK user we do our best to help others.

Have you checked the user manual as the online version certainly has set up instructions for the remote:

We do not have the HMS 1000T in the UK.

    Hi Barry,
My TV remote was turning off my Humax HMS-1000T when I pressed the power off button. So I disabled SIMPLINK (it's an LG TV) but it still turns my Humax off.

    Welcome to our Forum

Does disabling Simlink affect all HDMI inputs or can it be set for each one individually.

    Try another HDMI input?

    Thanks Barry.
It's either turned on or off, so guess it's all or none.
It's strange, as can only use my Humax remote if the TV is turned on, otherwise I can't even use it to turn my Humax on!
My TV is controlling my Humax! I want to leave the Humax in standby mode otherwise it doesn't record the shows I've set it to record. Very frustrating!

This adaptor will disable cec on the cable used to connect the box to the TV.

    Very strange set of circumstances.

I have a Philips TV that used to default CEC to on, I had to disable, enable, disable to finally stop it controlling connected devices. Has not done it for a while so hopefully fixed.

If you disconnect HDMI cable from TV do you then regain control of the unit using it's remote?
