Missing program information

    Hope you can help; a friend has the DTR-T1000 model Humax PVR and as of today has lost all the program information on the Freeview channels so it is impossible to see what is scheduled next.

    I have performed a hard reset and retune but whilst all 131 Freeview channels returned, the "no information" was continued to be displayed. I have taken a photo of the Guide screen so you can see the issue - what other steps do you recommend we take? This message is displayed against most Freeview channels except for what program is currently on TV.

    Also, please advise which Wi-Fi accessory you would recommend to get this PVR model internet-ready? My friend has a Wi-Fi hub in her house.

    You could try a Maintenance Mode recovery. Instructions at http://videos.youview.com/support/maintenance_mode.pdf.

    If it's a retail box and is still under warranty, you can ring Humax, who may offer a replacement.

    I don't think the DTR-T1000 was in the shops before about July 2012. In which case it's not yet two years old, and might still be under warranty, if the receipt can be found. Worth having a search.
