    Thanks Bob.

The joinfreesat.co.uk blog also has a bit of info:

OK I may get into trouble for posting this, but

Currently testing a fix for the problem, and it is looking good however I am hearing that stumbling blocks (beyond the control of Humax) are being put in the way of wider distro.

Thanks for giving me hope, Barry!

Could you expand a little more on "wider distro"? Are you suggesting that a beta release MIGHT be available very soon? If so when?

Sorry so many questions, but I want to know what's going on. I don't know whether to void my warranties by trying to install Raydon's software or buy new Freesat+ boxes. I need to be able to record specific events this weekend whilst I am actually at the games.

There's a news item about this on the Beeb

I appreciate Humax being honest and open about this.

I would love more info, Barry - I can't figure out how to send a PM, presumably I need to make a post first, so I'm making this one. I can get to the PM control panel though so I'm sure I can receive them.
