I have a 4 year old Humax Foxsat/Freesat HDR receiver, but here in Spain satellites have moved and we have lost many channels.
But we have digital terrestrial TV which does broadcast quite a few film channels, documentary channels, etc., and I wondered if anyone has been able to utilize the Humax to record ordinary terrestrial TV? But there is no separate antenna connection on the Humax, just the satellite. Otherwise we have a more or less useless box.

Hi welcome to the forum. In common with any other pvr the Foxsat can only record from it's own satellite tuners. You may be able to get satellite services from other locations.

You can use non-freesat mode to record these channels, adding the Custom Firmware for the Foxsat-hdr allows manual recording reservations while in Freesat mode. Not sure how it will cope without a lnb aimed at 28.2/28.5E.
