I followed the instructions on the Humax site to the letter and came a cropper. Instead of....

    5. Pull out the USB memory stick and connect the USB to the front panel of FOXSAT-HDR.
    6. Press and hold the STANDBY button on the front of the product. The product will now start up and the download process should start, please keep the STANDBY button held in for 30 seconds and then release. The following screen should appear on the TV set while the download takes place.

...I would suggest it ought to read....

    5. Pull out the USB memory stick and connect the USB to the front panel of FOXSAT-HDR. You should see 'USB device has been detected.' on the screen.
    6. Press the STANDBY button on the front of the product or the remote and then press and hold the STANDBY button on the front of the product. Please keep the STANDBY button held in for 30 seconds and then release. The product will now start up and the download process should start. The following screen should appear on the TV set while the download takes place.

What the instructions fail to do is to not get the person doing the update to switch the unit off before pressing and holding the Standby button on the unit. All that happens if you follow the Humax instructions is that you switch the unit off as you'd already switched it on in stage 4!

    Welcome to the Forum

Following the link that is provided in the txt file that accompanies the software update zip:

    Para 4 quite clearly states:

Place the product into standby mode...

So I do not understand your problem.

I was aware it was not going to be until after Easter, so I presume so.

DTG website now lists 1.00.20 as commencing today - normally the update is on air approx 10am.

If I get chance will check and report then.
