    Hi
I thought i would share my success with a magic eye in the 2nd room controlling my Humax HDR 1000s i used the following equipment

Humax HDR 1000s video phone (Red,White,Yellow) scart

connected to a Mercury RF Modulator (Red,White,Yellow)
    Mercury RF Modulator

Mercury RF Modulator (RF Out) connected to a TVLink Plus

TVLink Plus connected to coaxial cable to a Magic Eye

& all works great just like the good days of sky i can sit in my second room & switch channels using my humax HDR 1000s remote

    Hi,

Does the source end of the magic eye need an rf sensor to be positioned over the humax box remote control infrared sensor?

    Thanks

This is an alternative to the Magic Eye and prevents the need to buy and hook up the separate RF modulator:

Cablesson - IR Injector - IR over HDMI Remote Control Extender Kit

    Works OK for me.
