Does anyone have experience of using a USB stick to transfer files from one Humax to another? I recently bought an HDR 200T and it's great. I also have (different location) a Foxsat HDR and have saved files to USB thinking I could watch them on the HDR 2000T and vice versa. Are the systems compatable?

First of all you will only be able to view SD recording files from the Foxsat-hdr on any other Humax box (HD ones are encrypted).

To play them back on the HDR 2000T you will most likely have to delete (or rename) the .hmt file with the same name as the .ts recording file. On the earlier HDR FOX T2 the presence of the sidecar .hmt confuses the box, the newer box is probably the same. To watch HDR2000T SD files on the Foxsat-hdr you will have to use Raydons AV2HDR to create the two sidecar files (.hmt and .nts), the Foxsat needs these to play back any video content.

Thanks for the reply - too much hassle so I won't bother unless I have to!
