Forum Closure
The site announced its closure in September 2025, planning a wind-down over five months to end operations in February 2026 after 15 years. It entered members-only mode by late 2025, requiring login for reading or posting, with user registrations halted in November and read-only access starting in January.By September 2025, the forum announced a phased shutdown, transitioning to members-only access before becoming read-only and fully closing in February 2026.
Until the end of its closure and beyond, it still had contact with Humax Towers and continues to beta test firmware for Humax PVRs – the latest beta testing was for the Freely PVR – Humax FHR 6000T.
Forum Statistics
At around the time of closing (December 2025), MHO Forums had amassed 104,136 posts in 11,711 topics over 181 months by 8,440 of 19,450 members.This works out at about 575 posts a month with just under 50% of the members posting out of just under 20,000 members.
