    I have a Humax PVR 9200T.
A few days ago it froze as I switched it on. Since then none of the controls work, whether remote or on the machine.
The only way I can switch off is by unplugging.
When switched on it displays TV on the front of the machine and nothing on any of the TV screens.
    Can anyone help please?

Thank you Barry. I have tried that but I don't know what "carry out a default setting" means and I cannot find any instructions here or in my instruction manual.

The box receives a signal and I have a picture frozen on the TV. The display shows just 'TV'.

    Any more ideas please?

    Many thanks
    Carole.

Press Menu then select Installation. Enter Password Pin (default is 0000). Select Default Setting. Select Yes and enter the Pin again. It is described on page 60 of the User Manual (under Installation) I have.
