EPG stuck

My recording of The Repair Shop on 101 started OK last night at 20.00 but was still recording 3 hours later. When I noticed I had to manually stop the recording. When I looked at the information bar it was still showing TRS at 20.00 to 21.00 so the box hadn't realised it had stopped broadcasting. I also tried to record Annika on 158 U&Drama but that channel thought it was showing One Foot in the Grave from 17.20.

I tried switching off, unplugging, switching on again this afternoon but several channels are still confused whereas others are fine. Is there anything else I should try or will it somehow sort itself out?

I have another Foxsat HDR which has the same problem, whereas my Panasonic TV's Freesat channels seem to be OK.

At present I can watch but not record programmes through the boxes.

    I live in Exeter.

Hi i have a FOXSAT-HDR, and all of a sudden i am having a problem where the info bar has the wrong program & time showing, not all channels. This makes it impossible to record stuff, anyone got any ideas as to what i can do to rectify this, thanks

    I have a similar problem.

My Humax Foxsat HDR Freesat recorder has worked perfectly for over 10 years. Yesterday, a problem occurred. Some, but not all, channels display incorrect and out of date and time information when changing channels or pressing the ‘I’ button. It shows the wrong time and programme name, although the correct programme actually plays on screen. This means that a scheduled recording on an affected channel does not take place. The Guide shows the correct information.

Since then , and in the last hour, I have noticed that most channels that were affected have realigned themselves and show correct information. BBC 3 and 4 do not but I will be looking after 7.00 once they start.

I am relieved that I am not the only one with a problem. Let's hope it's all back to normal tonight.

In case of need I've set up my Virgin box to record all of my series links. I normally only use that box to Catch Up as I much prefer the controls on the Humax box.

There are threads about this on hummy.tv and Digital Spy. Problems started on Wednesday evening where recordings were overrunning or failing to start. My Foxsat EPG/Now-Next were affected yesterday but now appear to back to normal. My HB-1000s seems to be OK this morning but I'm still running with padded recordings until after the weekend.
