No but there are photos on other forums. It's very small and grey in colour.

I see that the new G3 box is now out. Looks tidy
Does anyone have any information as to when the PVR versions will be for sale?

Being weary of "there are photos" and "now out" I went looking...

The new box does not have a built in hard drive so presumably other versions will be a phased introduction to the market. Soon I hope!

Personally disappointed. given the capability to use a Sky-Q wideband lnb, would have expected 3 or more tuners instead of just two. Given the FVP-terrestrial models allow up to 4 recordings and include channel-4-HD and all-4 catch up.

4K capability of limited use to those with 4K TV's many of which offer Netflix and (prime- already with some content in 4K-HDR). If the box lacks support for iplayer 4K UHD - HLG content) it's already outdated.

Can't see it offers anything a G2 Freesat Humax box already has,

    Now available on Amazon...

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Freesat-UHD-X-4K-TV-Box-Anthracite/dp/B07X46XVMD/

    ...with these comments attached...

"Our Recordable 4K TV Boxes are coming soon and will be available with 500GB, 1TB and 2TB of storage."

"Our latest boxes are compatible with most UK satellite dishes so whether you’re switching from Sky+ or SkyQ, it’s simply a matter of plugging in your cables and you’re good to go!"

"The Recordable 4K TV Boxes can record up to 4 shows at the same time, depending on the type of satellite dish you have."

On that last point there is no explanation as to what type of LNB they mean.
