I have no idea whether this is relevant but on my Panasonic TV there is a setting "HDMI Content Detection" which is set off. I have no problems.
I also have a 2 month old Samsung 6445 model, again no problems.
    Check TV settings?

Kudos to all - to Humax and Freesat for fast diagnosis and fix, and to Barry and contact for the interim support arrangements

Not a problem I experienced, but it's nice to see a post-release issue being handled so neatly.

Echo that sentiment - from fretful to fixed in a few hours, RESULT!

Hi, I've also found this problem has occurred after a recent update. We are using a temporary Vistron tv as our LG has just stopped working, but never had this problem on either tv before. Any help would be great thank you.

    Thank you Barry.
My problem was linked to a TV using a Video Sender, the main TV was not affected. I followed your instructions and I am happy to report all is ok.

    Thanks once again.

As a new member, I scanned through the forum to see if my problem was being discussed. It was and I found this post which seemed to be the same as mine :

Hi Barry. I too seem to be having a similar problem, although not 100% the same. I get the black screen with audio and messages re no HDCP and AV blocked but this is on a TV upstairs via a video sender.
If I go downstairs to the main TV (Samsung)it seems to be working ok. Any advice would be most welcomed.

    Your reply:

Strange this because it should only be affecting HDMI, however check your Private Messages in a moment.

I wonder if you could help me please.

I temporarilly solved the problem by powering down the Humax box and it has worked, but I think I read that this fix may not last.

    Thanks.
