HDR 1000S Undocumented Manual Recording Feature

Whilst playing with my new HDR 1000S Freesat Recorder, and finding no reference to setting up Manual Recordings (Which I used a lot on my old Sky Box) I came across how to do it......

RECORDINGS>> PLANNED >> SCROLL RIGHT AS FAR AS YOU CAN..... to SET RECORDING MENU

You then are presented with a manual Recordings Menu !!

You only seem to be able to setup ONE manual recording for any specific time, and it shows in the RECORDINGS as Manual Recording....

However, once the Manual Recording has taken place, the programme segment recorded is identified... ie Papers Review.

Hi welcome to our forum. The repeat option enables you to create a manual recording that repeats at set intervals. It's not as versatile as earlier boxes as it lacks the record every weekday option.
