I could not switch off my Humax via the remote, so tried on the box itself. This did not work either, so tried switching on/off at mains - again unsuccessful, so tried removing the cable thing at the back of the box (sorry - completely ignorant!). Now I have great difficulty in fitting that back into the connection, and it only seems to go in partially. Connecting the plug end to the power supply doesn't light up the device either. Therefore - do I need a replacement 12v power supply adaptor, or a new Humax? I found a YouTube video, which seems to suggest that there is a special adeaptor for the device end, is that correct?
