You can only have one registered device at Humax.net and it has to be a Aura.

If the TV is Android based there is no harm in trying, if you can find the apk to sideload it. You will most likely find that you need an "air mouse" (if your TV doesn't come with one) to use the app because I too suspect that it is designed for touchscreen only.

The app relies on a Humax server at Humax.net. Surely you don't expect it to support thousands of other Android devices. You can use multiple mobile devices to access one aura (maybe more).

I have the aura app on a mobile phone and a tablet. The tablet of course has larger live TV pictures and replay of recordings. The phone can slip in a pocket so can be used more conveniently. I can't see how using it on a TV is going to do anything.

You can't carry that around with you and assuming you have an aura using the box HDMI out does more than the app anyway.

I would hazard a guess that the question was asked because Maximus is hoping to utilise the capability of watching recordings on the Aura via another Android device. The portability of the TV is irrelevant.
