Hi all. I've just bought a 1100S in the last couple of days. Set up was a breeze, latest software update installed immediately.
I'm not new to Humax products. I still have a fully functioning 9200T which is in the bedroom, and I also have a HDR model which I was using until the purchase of the 1100S. Only reason I'm not still using it is because I need to now run another couple of cables from the dish as they're now in the 1100S. Can now only use the HDR to watch recordings, and there's quite a bit of stuff on it I haven't watched yet.
Overall impression of the 1100S is I'm very impressed, especially using it with the Freesat App. Already made recordings away from home, App works a treat. It would have been nice if the 1100S remote was as comprehensive as the HDR remote, i.e. I can control all of my home cinema, TV, DVD player etc from the HDR remote, but don't have that option with the 1100S remote.
Anyway, looking forward to participating in the forum.
