Had high hopes for this update when I switched on the box this morning, but sadly it's pretty much pointless. New WiFi drivers, but nothing actually fixed.

Has anyone seen the actual change list for this update (and interesting that it has gone straight from 6 to 13 without the versions in between being released, except on new sales)?

    The release note just mentions:

    • Updated WiFi Drivers

    Hi,

Switched my Humax HD PVR on this morning and it started doing a software update.

Unfortunately the update is stuck on 50% total progress.

There is a warning saying don't switch of the system so what can I do?

    Any help appreciated!

My Humax software update also started this morning and took a couple of hours to complete. Haven't noticed any difference!
Does this mean that the long-standing RF problem will be solved?

    Welcome to our Forum

If by RF problem you mean loopthru, that was fixed in version 1.01.06.

Why is my 2000T updating with an OTA software update with exactly the same version as is already on the box?

UKTFAC 1.01.13 loader version UKTFAC 1.04 with new version UKTFAC 1.01.13 loader version UKTFAC 1.04? What's worse it's going to take at least an hour.

    Hello Barry,

The loopthrough wasn't fixed on my HDR 2000T - I had to by-pass it myself using an aerial splitter. My TV set (fairly new Toshiba) wouldn't pick up the signal without the Humax being switched on.
I haven't tried the old wiring link-up since today's software update - happy with the way things are.
One problem I have had, though, has been deleting programmes with have been recorded and watched. Sometimes they won't delete until I start playback briefly and then try again.

    Hello Barry again,

I've been looking through some of the forum topics and it seems that I can get loopthru on my box by going through settings and switching off the standby power saver setting. Is this correct? I only bought the Humax HDR 2000T a couple of months ago and there's nothing about this in the instruction book.
