Hi, I have a Foxsat HDR and recently updated the firmware with the Media and File Server Bundle for the Humax FoxsatHDR – Release 4 (v1.00.21). I have installed the web interface and all appears to be up an running. I now would like to access the HUMAX from my Mac Mini (OSX Lion 10.7). I have SAMBA enabled and the FOXSAT-HDR appears in the finder. However I cannot access the drive and get an error message the SAMBA version is not compatible or up to date. I can successfully access the drive from a Windows machine. Has anyone else got the same mac access issue and is there an update for the SAMBA application that can be uploaded to the device. Thanks.

Thanks for the link. I thought it might be related to the domain, but no luck. Is there any other way to connect to the Humax other than FTP. I would like to integrate my recordings into my Plex system and therefore need to access the Humax disk via a shared folder or drive.

I think these guys fixed Samba for the Foxsat and OS X Lion.
http://www.avforums.com/forums/freesat/1632428-smb-connection-foxsat-hdr-mac.htmlYou can also use DLNA/UPnP to stream to your mac. The MediaTomb plugin on the Foxsat will do that. I found this YouTube tutorial helpful for configuring MediaTomb

And then use VLC player on your mac to play the DLNA/UPnP streams
