Incidentally the file is also smaller than the original. 720p 530 MB orig 720 x 576 766 MB

Downloaded the recording File using FTP. BBC1 - SD recordings should be 720 x 576. FTP copy reduced resolution to 544 x 576

Time to get file 5 mins

Downloaded file run through streamfix to strip out superflous data

Streamfix converted file upscaled to near 720p Total time 28 min (upscaling is slowest operation)

HD files cannot be transferred using FTP.

Mission Impossible in 720K HD single frame from film start. Looks good on tablet.

Recode took about 30 mins

You're definitely having a very different experience to me, I can download the HD versions via FTP without difficulty. THey cant be played, but I can download the file from the FTP server.
