I have just looked to see if I am missing channel 111 too. I am! But then I realised that ITVHD is in fact channel 119

My 1010s in its wisdom thought it would update itself an hour ago. Can access any of my 750gb recordings and have 75 future recordings in the pipeline!
So,Humax not check before they update the software! This is unacceptable to say the least!
Wife is cracking up because Corrie was taped and I tried ITV player but it's playing silly buggers now!
Got to watch it on my Roku 3 but have to sit through adverts now!
    I'm raging about this!
Then to top it all, it switched itself off for no reason. No problems as such before this. Any way to revert back to previous settings and stop, any future updates? Also got some new channels, that sell crap and can't get rid of them!

    Software update 16 June 2015

This morning we have released new software for Humax HDR1000s/HDR1010s Freesat+ HD with Freetime boxes. The software version number is 2.02.34 and should resolve the issue where some customers were unable to access On Demand services. If you have not downloaded the new software automatically, you can do this manually, simply search for new software by pressing Home, Settings, System settings, Software update and Search new software. A software update for the Humax HB1000s Freesat HD with Freetime box will follow in due course.

If, following the software update, you continue to experience any issues with On Demand or Showcase, then the advice is as follows:

Wait for up to 60 seconds from first connecting to your broadband router for the box to find a valid internet connection
If after this time your box is still saying it needs to connect to the internet, please restart your router
While your router is rebooting, please do not attempt to use your Freesat box until you have established you have a full internet connection
When booting your box up from standby, it's recommended that you wait approximately 30 seconds before attempting to access On Demand. If your box is coming up from deep standby (if for example it hasn't been used overnight), you will experience a delay of approximately 10 seconds after seeing the Freetime animation - this is normal and no cause for concern.

    Contact us

If this does not restore Showcase and On Demand services to your Freesat+ HD with Freetime box, please give us a call on: 0345 313 0051. Lines are open Monday - Friday 9am-8pm and Saturday 10am-2pm or email our team at Customerteam@freesat.co.uk with the following information:

    Device details

    What is your TV Region/postcode?

What is the make and model of your Freetime device?
What software version are you currently running? (You can check this by going to settings via the home menu then selecting System information. The software version should be: UKFSAA 2.02.07 If you don't have this, please go to System settings and select Software update, then "Search for new software".)
How are you connected to the internet (WiFi/Ethernet Cable/Homeplug Adaptors)?
If you are connected via WiFi is this build in, or via a dongle?

    Broadband configuration

What is the make and model of your router?
    Who is your broadband provider?
Is the internet extended around your home using power plugs or cables?
Are there any other routers in your home that are extending the WiFi range?
Is the router on continuously or powered down when not in use (e.g. overnight)?
Do you set your IP Address manually or does the router allocate it automatically?

A good point I never noticed that, logically it would be 111 (before ITV+1) but I'll check to see if we have 119 in the morning. Its amazing what you notice when your looking for trouble!

Has anyone relinked to the Freesat APP without any problems?

I've just done 2 more factory resets and noticed it's missing 111 and 119 as well, still will not recognise the Edimax EW-7711UTn dongle and it cut short recording last night so I am using my old Freeview terrestrial pvr till it gets sorted. I haven't heard anything back from the phone call yesterday but I hope they sort it as it was working perfectly before the new "improved" update. Just done another reset and tried removing the dongle to detect it on re-insertion but no luck, 119 is there but no option to connect wifi.

Fac reset mine, and the next day it's rebooted again. Same pattern as everyone else, either a straight reboot, or it boots half way then shuts down altogether.

It's not a deliberate blocking of all unsupported dongles. See post #45 in this thread - Edimax 7711UMn has been tested and found to work. But evidently whatever changes have been implemented, seem to have had the effect of making some unsupported dongles no longer visible to the box. Bad luck, as this is unlikely to be changed in. future update.
If the dongle problm doesn't get sorted, you could use Powerline adapters.
There is no option to avoid automatic downloads, unfortunately.

My apologies, I sped read through the previous comments before posting my own, so I either missed it or took too long writing my own reply!

By the looks of other comments, it looks like it's affecting Edimax dongles for the most part. Do you (or any admins/mods) think it's worth setting up a sticky with a list of known working/non-working USB attachments?

It would be great to hear from anyone who's wifi dongle is working. So far the list of non-working dongles mentioned in this thread all relate to the Edimax 7711U series (UMn, UAn, USn, UTn). Working dongles seems to be limited to the official Humax 150M dongle and the Tenda W311U+. Some others have mentioned generic adapters that are working, but it's difficult to give people exact details on which ones without model numbers.

If everyone who has a dongle could comment on their make and model number and whether it's working or not, that would help those of us with "broken" ones to get a replacement.

    Thanks all.

TLDR: What wifi dongle do you have? What make and model is it? Does it work after update?
