    I’ve just had more failed recordings. Does anyone know what the symbol means - it looks like film with holes running along top & bottom with a lightning flash through the middle.

    Any help gratefully received?

    If it is a freesat for the recorder that you are referring to then the symbol is the visual for a failed recording.
