The upcoming system update

    Finally there has been some news about the system update that was supposed to be rolled out in January. The test software build is hoped for next month with some members being offered testing first before rollout. Fingers crossed that there will be no more delays & more importantly that this latest update will address each of the known faults & also not cause new issues as most of the previous updates have.

    A known issue is the box just restarting on its own isn't it?
    This happens daily a few times to me and is so annoying.
    I will be just watching something then i hear a 'dink' kinda noise, then it just all goes off, then i get the restarting logo.
    This sometimes happens to my box a couple of times a day, if it happens during watching a recording, it then always restarts from the start and now were it was up to.
    I did ask humax about this and they suggest a reset first, which didn't fix it, then they suggested there was a new update to their freeview app which should sort it, i verified it was the new version and was still doing it.

    Fingers crossed we get it sooner rather than later
    I’ve had serious pixelating and channel drop outs for the last two months
    It’s got to the point that Im using my old HDR box that the Aura replaced
