    Thanks David, done that, reflashed to 4.1.1, powered off for 10 min, reloaded guide. Still the same instant record gets the name of the programme 1 hr ahead.

    telnet returns the correct data though

    I wonder if there's a quick fix on the custom firmware that could be added easily, such as a "EPG -1 hour" checkbox added to the custom firmware web interface settings page.

    I managed to resolve it by flashing 4.1.1 then adding 4.0.9utc over the old version, will add that prior to adding the 4.0.9utc patch the box was stuck on custom firmware v4.1.1 even after a couple of hard resets! Actually thought I killed it
