If you are talking about IR and not BT which I assume you are as you mention codes for One4All then yes it is a feature and is in the manual, page 8, Box Assigning. It’s done a different way but is what I believe you have done.

There is no such thing as customer support at Humax if the answer isn’t “do a Factory Reset” they don’t have a clue.

Although I bet as of now their next line, no matter what the problem, will be “it’s going to be fixed in the upcoming update”, that will at least get rid of you till/IF it happens.

Edit – Its also in the manual the way you did it, page 43.

I hope that was not the " senior Humax employee " that told bella2 about all the flaws that the new Android update might fix.

This thread from 2020 seems to suggest that Aura codes could not be changed then but not sure now.

An interesting 'conversation' with them on Friday 1600 (UK time). My main query was to try and get the remote codes for the Humax Aura remote to enable me to programme a 'OneforAll' universal remote, so if anyone has them --- please?

During the conversation I mentioned I had switched my remote code to code 2 to avoid conflict with my other Humax STB "You cannot do that" was the reply. This set me back a bit as I had :-). I then established that I was actually talking to someone who said he was the 'Chief Tech advisor' for Humax. I actually suspect, as you will see, that I was talking to some 'herbert' who picked up my call as he walked past.

I asked him if he had access to a 1TB aura and remote. "Yes" said he. I talked him through the FV Play settings to the bit where you can change the code. "That should not be there", said he. "It is only for the TV" (NB not Humax). I was beginning to get goose bumps...

"Is this, then, a fault with my box" (which is 2 weeks old), I asked. "Where did you buy it" he asked. "Amazon" I said. "Who supplied it", he asked. "Amazon" I said patiently. "You should return it under warranty, then". At this point I gave up.

Can I please check here that this function IS in fact correct and should be available on the settings menu. If so, is there any way Humax can perhaps run an education programme for their 'Senior Tech' man?

Not impressed!

Before I am willing to reply can you confirm the size of your Hard drive as I think you may be another bogus new member posting about a pretty much obsolete 15 year old product.

it is a 499.7gb hdd with 208.5gb free.
sorry im not sure about the state of humax software modifications like hummy so i dont know if its possible to increase this limit? surely its wasteful to only have 500 30 min recordings on a single hard drive...

Martin is right, I am amazed you have gone this long without HD,is the guide even capable of listing all the channels we have these days? deletion or moving on to a newer model are your only options. I suppose you could copy your existing content elsewhere to allow for making room and Martin has the knowledge to tell you how but as you do not seem to want or need the latest trends I would strongly suggest you seek a good second hand HDR-FOX T2 Freeview Recorder, you can greatly expand the memory, it is more reliable than any other model, it has HD and there is great custom firmware for it.

yeah a new recorder would be nice, however its connected up to an old tv so HD doesnt really matter that much. i guess ill try and move my recordings elsewhere, and i can try and dig around in the forum for the awnser on how to use humaxrw. thanks anyway guys!

If you are quick you can get a free 2TB HDR FoxT2 on the other site if you are willing to pay just the postage, See here in the last post of the page.

I agree it is wasteful but the limit was set when the proprietary file system was designed for the 9200T about 20 years ago. Technology has moved on a lot since then and you need a more modern Humax PVR to have an almost unlimited number of recordings.

im trying to record a program but when i hit record on my remote i get a message popping up saying "the limit for the nubmer of recorded programs has been reached". i have abut 511 programs recorded, and there is about 200gb free on the hard drive. Is there any way to increase the limit of recorded programmes? would hummy or any other software mod fix this?

You have reached the limit of the filesystem for the 9300T (and the the 9200T/9150T). There is nothing you can do except delete some existing recordings. The limits on later Humax recorders are much, much larger.
