Will we have to re-install Raydon's software after the new firmware update? Suggestions are that it could be as early as Wednesday, or it seems one can download it now.

Yes - A new 1.00.20 version is ready from release and will be available as soon as Humax OTA 1.00.20.

With the announcement that Humax will be transmitting v1.00.20 of their software over the air from today it's time for another Custom Firmware release.
Unfortunately raydon is on holiday but he was good enough to prepare the release before he went. Version 4.0.7 of the Custom Firmware is available from the link below. The main link at the start of this thread will be updated by raydon when he returns from holiday.
This download includes v1.00.20 of the Humax software so no need to worry about the OTA broadcasts of it. I recommend upgrading at your earliest convenience.

I will also mention that Adrian crached how to write to the front panel display so from now 'boot' will be replaced with the firmware version
