From USB external device to internal HDD

Hello! I have some .ts files of my old recorder that I wish to copy to the HDD of my new HDR-1000T DIGIMAX: how?

Unfortunately we are primarily aimed at the UK user so I fear maybe of little help to you.

That model is not sold in UK.

The User Guide does not state that this is possible. It just show how to play external video.

If it is possible then I'd expect it to be done by first by navigating to the media file as if you were going to play it. Then press the coloured button that matches the colour next to 'OPTIONS' displayed at the bottom of the screen.
The User Guide is in black, grey and white so I can't tell what the colour is.

Strange that there is not a downloadable User Guide in Italian. I could only find the English version on the Humax Support site in the Italy section.
