    Hello all!
I have been a silent lurker for quite a while, I have learnt a lot from just reading in here. I fixed up my own dish and tuned my Foxsat -HDR using the information in here and it has worked very well.

Last year I upgraded to a dish motor and successfully lined up with several non freesat stations. So far so good.
But a few weeks ago I had to move the dish to a stronger bracket and although I lined it up properly and did the manual tune followed by the non freesat set up my box seems to be locked to 28.2. Even though I can detect other satellites they don't appear in the manual tune menu so I can't tune in to them It seems to be stuck on 28.2.

I have no idea what is happening so I decided to register and ask!

Welcome to the forum. I don't have any experience of using a Foxsat with a motorised dish.

However I do know that the mounting for the dish must be exactly vertical. If it's not the dish will fail to track the correct arc so will only work with the orbital point you used to align the dish. The real expert is a poster on AV Forums satellite threads - Pedro2000. He is is a professional who specialises in motor installations. I would be inclined to ask there.

    Hello all,

I've just joined; I guess like a few new members I'm asking for answers. I've just bought an elderly 9200-T 'DuoVisio'off Ebay. I've read that this model came out in 2007 but I don't know how long they were made for. It seems to work fine' previous owner said it hade been stored away for a few years. Very small dink in the top so I checked inside. No problems, not a speck of dust. I'm not sure if it's had much usage.

TV channel storage works fine; so far I've not been able to access audio channels; they show up in the station menue so I guess they're in there somewhere.

The release date was October 2005 with a black version being released later.

The remote has a flap lower down than the volume and channel buttons. This slides down and reveals many useful buttons including a button with a music note on it. This will toggle between the Audio and TV channels. There are other ways of switching to an audio channel but that is probably the easiest most of the time. Other methods include selecting a current audio programme from the guide and selecting the station from the station list that is displayed if you press either the 'LIST' or the 'OK' button while watching live tv.

Other buttons under the flap allow you to skip forward and back while watching a programme, skip forward and back 1 whole day at a time when in the programme guide, and there is also a button to easily access your recordings and play them back.

On my 9200T I slid the flap half way down so that it could be easily removed without breaking anything and then put the flap at the back of a draw.

    Hello all,

Thank you all for the friendly welcome, much appreciated. Mine's silver couloured so I guess it must have been made in 2005 or thereabouts. I've seen user manuals available to print out from the internet but I wonder what the chances are of getting hold of an original? I'll look on Ebay and Amazon.

    Once again, many thanks.

    Hello again,

I guess we've all got knowledge about something. Me? I knew nothing about PVR's, now I know a bit. Only a bit mind but better than what I knew before.

I make a living rebuilding and repairing antique musical boxes, most made around the 1830's. If anyone out there needs help or information I'd be happy to help. To start with, never ever take the governor off if there's any power on the mainspring.

I've done some repair work on a rare record deck, an Accutrac + 6. Made by BSR in England but for their own reasons nver officially sold there. I've worked on a Seeburg "Select-O-Matic" mechanism. I've no knowledge of electronics, just some on the mechanical stuff. There's a basic rule. On almost all ciurcuits it's "break before make" meaning if there's more than one curcuit controled by relays make sure that contacts controling circuit A open before switching power through contact B.

This has got sod-all to do with a HUMAX 9200T except that in their different ways they control sound.
