That's OK. You don't need custom firmware to solve your problem. If you set a daily reminder as described in post #107 that should block the OTA update.

I would think that using any search engine with the phase "FOX T2 Custom Firmware" would yield many results - look for the one Hummy.tv

Kidneystone : You don't need the Custom Firmware, just do the following :-

Guide >> Schedule (Yellow) >> New Reservation >> OK >>

Channel = [any]
Date = [current]
Start Time = 04:15
End Time = 04:45
Repeat = Daily
Mode = Reminder

OK

04:20 to 04:40 is ample time, and saves 10 minutes on power usage and disc running time.
