Odd sound problem

    The amp only has HDMI out so I'll have to try using SPDIF. I'll have a go tomorrow & post back.

    Confused, I thought you connected the amp audio in to the TV using s/pdif. All I was asking was to connect the FOX direct to the amp to eliminate the TV as a cause.

    Aha, are you sure the TV outputs audio from s/pdif for hdmi inputs. My TV doesn't, only from the analogue audio outputs.

    Yes as sometimes it's fine must most of the time it stutters on the Hummy input though always fine from the pS3 also connected via HDMI to the TV.

    When you connect the FOX direct to the AMP you will have to turn off surround sound in the Foxes TV setup menu as otherwise you will get zilch for the HD channels (That's why I asked you if the original problem was confined to the HD channels)
