10000T no longer changes TV to correct channel

I have a DTR 1000T and a 1010T side by side connected with different HDMI cables to same TV. On switching either on it used to change the TV to the correct channel and on switching off would change the TV to whatever channel it had been on before the Humax was switched on.
The 1010 still does all that and so did several different units I have bought for various reasons that were connected to the TV in place of my own 1010 but the DTR1000T does not any longer switch any channel on the TV, Why it has stopped I have no idea and have hunted the controls on both the Humax and the TV for a setting used for activating that function.
I would appreciate any advice on how to get the unit to change the TV to the appropriate channel on switch on, I know it can be done as it did that without fail for about three years since I bought it, why it stopped is beyond me and the 1010 that is also connected still does it both on switching on and off
