Are there 1TB hard disc models?

I'm very disappointed in the lack of skip backwards/forwards buttons. I use them all the time on my HDR Fox T2s.

Usual for Humax to release 500GB first then 1TB a week or so later.

I saw that in the FAQ. But they're not real skip buttons, they involve multiple button presses to invoke and cause crap to appear on the screen.

Why did they feel the need to change the UI? The HDR Fox T2 one works very well.

Thanks. What I really want is an HDR Fox T2 with ITV Player, 4OD, Demand 5 and an EPG that goes into the past to invoke them all. It's not clear that the FVP-4000T is close enough to my spec to tempt me. And I'm not even insisting it run the custom firmware, that would be a bonus.

From Humax Twitter - 1TB will hopefully be available from next week.

As it uses the usual remote control sets (see FVP-4000T FAQ) does it respond to the skip buttons on a HDR-FOX, or similar, remote? I presume the UI is based on a Freeview Play rather than Humax specification.

Afraid not, still have to use OK or play to display timebar and then press left right arrow.

Then given I use skip backwards/forwards buttons far more often than I bemoan my lack of ITV Player etc, this box is not for me.

To be honest the one extra button press has not been that much of an inconvenience surprisingly.
