    Hello All,
I joined this forum hoping to solve a problem with my new 2000T 1TB HDR.

I recently became unemployed, so I've had to cancel my Virgin Media TiVo TV package.
    I bought the 1TB 2000T as a replacement service.

    Now to my problem;-

Having set up the device and auto-tuned, it failed to pick-up any of the HD channels available.
My LG TV, with in-built Freeview HD, does pick-up all the available HD channels using the same antenna and auto-tune.

As the two devices are in the same location, I swapped the antenna connection between the two, so that the signal strength and connection were exactly the same to auto-tune on each device. The results are the same, no HD chs on the 2000T, but all HD chs on the TV.

As a new user of the 2000T, is there some tuning step that I'm missing out?

Any, and all, help and advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

What is the signal strength and quality when tuned to the SD version of BBC1? What is you post code (first 4 characters if you don't wish to divulge full post code)?

I apologise for the length of time I've taken to reply to your post. Family matters intervened.

    BBC 1 (Scotland) SD.
    Signal strength 43%
    Quality 100%

    Postcode G73 3..
Local transmitter is Black Hill/ Kirk 'o Shotts, about 18 miles as the crow flies ... No intervening high ground.

The two storey house has an inside loft aerial, would a signal amp help?

What puzzles me is that whilst the Human box fails to locate any HD channels, when I switch the aerial lead to the LG TV it picks up all the HD channels using exactly the same aerial and connections.

Have you checked to see if the missing channels are there but have channel numbers higher than 800 ?
