5USA, 5 and 5* on my tv come up as channel not tuned or with heavy pixlating when the youview humax box is in standby (orange). When the youview box is on (blue) they work ok on the TV

I assume the aerial feed to the TV is daisy-chained through the Youview box? Do you have RF Passthrough turned on (it is on regardless in Low Eco mode despite it showing as off in the settings menu)?

Yes aerial fed through box to TV.
Eco-mode set to High and RF Loop Through set to OFF

Either you need a splitter before the box to give it a seperate feed or you need RF loop through on.

RF Loop through now set to ON and have tested this by putting the box on standby and 5, 5USA and 5* now appear to be fine.
