I have just set up my new Humax 2000T and connected all cables as expected ~ when the unit was not on power I expected the TV to receive freeview via the Aerial ~ NO
So I powered up and did settings on Humax ~ got unit working OK
Returned to TV and was getting signal ~ put Humax in Standby ~ TV signal not being received
Is this correct or have I got a dummy unit

    Welcome to our Forum

    1. You have to have the latest software version 1.01.06 on board.

    2. You have to switch off power saving in standby.

    Thanks for your reply Barry.
This request is not for me, but for a friend whom I recommended to buy Humax. As their signal is not great a passive splitter is not an option.

No chance of updating via usb or connecting to LAN for the IP update?
