Hello. I'm just about to purchase an HDR-1800t for my parents. One question... does this unit (as well as having RF pass through) have the ability like the older Humax boxes to send the Humax output on a UHF channel? I can't find anything that says it does but I live in hope. If not, the old video recorder will serve several more years doing this job in a roundabout way (and this job alone).

    Thanks,

No modulated output I'm afraid, so the video will have to serve.

It would be neater (and use less power) to connect a stand alone UHF modulator.

    eg

Ah yes... Modulated output - the phrase escaped me after all these years!

Thanks for your swift information. The old video lives on to modulate the output and to serve as a poor digital clock.

I'll look into buying a modulator for them in the near future.
