Alternate Win 7 video players for HDR T2

At present i use the standard Win 7 medi player to watch files off the humax hdr t2 but i find i cannot skip forward. on mu HTC phone I am able to drop in and out off films by clicking on the rightplace on the timeline.

Hwn I try this on windows media player it stops working.

Apart from windows media player what other programs can i use that will recognise the humax media server and allow me to play it's files on Win7.

You could try VLC player. It copes with nearly all of the different file extensions I have thrown at it. Plus its free.
