    Hi,

"an error occurred while launching the application at http://www.humaxtvportal.com"

as of the weekend I get the above error message when trying to connect my pvr to the portal.

Software is current release, dhcp is on auto.

I can ftp to the box ok. It is clearly attempting to access the portal but for some reason cannot.

Any thoughts, I have powered off and disconnected from mains to reset to no avail.

    All suggestions gratefully received.

    Hello TMM,
    You are not alone!
Just returned from holiday, looking forward to watching the Indian Grand Prix and I get the same issue.
This occurred at 13.15 UK time on November 2, 2011,

All help would be much appreciated,
    Thanks

Welcome both of you to our Forum

Yep it appears to be down, trying to make contact with Humax Towers, and make sure they are aware.

Thanks for the quick response Barry; I'll have to do my ironing whilst listening to the radio!

THIS IS REALLY HELPFUL - IT IS CLEARLY AN ISSUE AFFECTING ALL (?) USERS. I HAVE ALSO JUST HAD THIS PROBLEM TODAY AND HAVE BEEN MESSING AROUND WITH CABLES AND POWER-LINE ADAPTORS. I WAS CLOSE TO RESTORING TO FACTORY SETTINGS TOO. I WILL HANG FIRE.
    THANKS

Hello Guys, same problem, very rarely use the portal but just so happens it looks like it went down today. Only got as far as doing the unpluging ritual, luckily didnt reset. I will call Humax tomorrow and hopefully get some answers and post on here tomorrow.

Any idea when this is likely to be fixed?

I am trying to determine whether this is a problem with my new wi-fi dongle or the portal. It appears to connect ok, but won't connect to the portal.

    Thanks
