apple cinema screen with Humax freesat via HDMI

Hi,

Please can I ask if it is possible to use a freesat humax box with an apple cinema screen via the HDMI cable? I have this setup plugged together just now but no picture appears on the screen. I'm trying this because modern LED backlit screens cause me eye trouble and my last CRT tv has just given up the ghost. Our old CCFL apple cinema screen seems like the next option.

It turns out that the humax produces a resolution level that is not supported by the apple screen. That's why no picture at all is produced.

It more likely the monitor requires 60Hz refresh rather than the 50Hz all UK kit uses.
