Are Humax still fixing bugs for the Foxsat-HDR?
Or have they abandoned us because of the new models?

There are still many unresolved bugs that have been with the Foxsat-HDR since the beginning.

    These come to mind:-
    1. The subtitles bug where the subtitles sometimes come on in chase play.
    2. The favourites group bug where you keep having to re-select your favourites group.
    3. The workaround for the slow EPG problem is rather inelegant and unsatisfactory.
    4. We were once promised the "record TSR buffer" feature, that never happened.
    5. Many people have asked for (and never got) the EPG to only show "favourite" channels.

Just wondering if these boxes are still being updated/fixed by Humax, or if they are now static and will just remain as they are?
The cynic in me suspects that Humax would prefer me to buy a new PVR than fix the bugs in my current one.

My vote is for no, they won't. Which is a shame, because in many respects the Foxsat HDR is far behind your average TiVo in terms of usability - the amount of times I've wanted to record a program including the TSR buffer for example, but can't.
