I have had a HUMAX HD FREESAT PVR for about 18 months and it has been linked to a 42" panasonic full HD TV for the last six months.
For some reason the picture has now started to randomly fluctuate between widescreen and 4.3. This happens even when you are watching a film or TV programme that is clearly 16.9 widescreen mode. You can be watching a film in Widescreen mode then all of a sudden it reverts to 4.3 and vice versa.
How do I test if it is the TV or the Humax box that is at fault. The TV is about 6 months old.
Humax is set to screen ratio 16.9 widescreen with display format as auto.
TV is set to Auto. I have also tried setting aspect ratio to 16.9
