I recently bought a FOX T2 recorder, which I think is great. However, I do have one query. When the recorder is on and I am watching my Sony TV through the recorder, I have a sign in the top left of the screen, which says "AV1 input" and as the TV is in a bedroom with only a 20" screen, I find this message a bit of a distraction. Is there any way of hiding this message? I have checked both the TV and recorder manuals, but can find nothing pertaining to this.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Alan.

The message is coming from the TV not the Humax.

Agreed, on my Panasonic TV a button on the remote switches the AV/channel indicator ON or OFF.

Display or Info button on the TV remote can also dismiss the input message...
