The BBC Sounds app on my new FVP-5000T doesn't work properly. When listening to a radio show it gets stuck in a loop of approx 30 seconds and keeps replaying same section. I've unplugged box and restarted router - any other suggestions? Thanks in advance

In the absence of any suggestions for a fix, does anyone use BBC Sounds app successfully on a FVP-5000T? Will I have any luck with Humax support? I get the impression from elsewhere that their customer service is patchy

Just listened to 5 minutes of live radio 2 and 5 minutes of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue without the problem you describe.

    Anyone else having issues?

Thanks for trying it, Barry. It does seem to work ok for 10-15 minutes before problem arises but I'll give up on it - was only a 'nice to have' rather than an essential feature

Thanks for testing, Graham - I am just using a wireless connection so maybe it breaks for me if signal stalls.

All my kit is hard wired except my phone and laptop. I do you use BBC sounds a lot on my phone which is WiFi. I have a 16 way network switch in my kit rack with a pair of these providing a wired link back to the WiFi Router network switch

I have the same issue. It plays fine for around 10 mins then gets stuck on a loop of around 30 seconds. It just keeps playing that loop over and over, and even coming out of the app and back in again, it continues to play the same loop. Very annoying as I listen to BBC Sounds all the time.
