when I try to series link bbc news it tells me it clashes with another reservation.

On checking the epg the series shows as having been reserved in the bbc ni section.

But this must be an error because it does not record this and i have never set it.

I note from another post that having multiple channels in the 800 range can affect recordings.

    I have no 800's but 950 - 967 are all the bbc1 regions

A factory reset does not solve the problem.

My only solution is to series link the news on bbc1 hd which registers no clash.

Any help would be really appreciated.

    Cheers

    Paul.

Freesat have had transmission problems and as a result you'll get freezing on the guide and issues with scheduled recordings.

There will be a OTA s/w update soon to version 1.00.18.

If users experience this problem then they can contact Humax Support who will provide V18.

It is important to note this is only relevant to users who have issues with the EPG locking up, and the unit requiring a power cycle to restore operation, there are no other changes.

Believe it will also help if you have a rebooting issue whilst browsing the EPG.

    Welcome to our Forum harroagtepablo

Channels in the 800's is a freeview issue not freesat.

The problem with BBC News is probably the series/programme crid data annotated to the programme later on in the week......have not checked this out fully as yet.

In the meantime you could set a repeat timer for the programme rather then relying on series linking it.

Hey thanks for the help and thanks for the welcome.

I've set a series link on bbc hd which does not suffer from the same problem.

    Really grateful for your advice.

    I'll wait for the update.

    Paul.

Barry spotted the problem, the weekend news carried the same series crid but omitted the prog crid.
