Apparently BT have a new Humax YouView box, designed to match (in appearance) the BT router. Will this box be covered by this forum?

See no reason why not as it can be purchased as a retail item.

Post any info in the Youview sub forum, as you have with this thread.

I'll get the title amended to reflect this model as well.

Thanks, Barry. I don't actually have any details - was rather hoping you might.

Sorry no, do not have one.

Have reserved mine to pick up at Argos today. Looking forward to being able to use the remote record app,as I'm not able to on my freetime unit.

I'd be interested in any comments. It seems the significant differences from the DTR T1 boxes are a) speed and b) external power supply.

Another significant difference is the remote control.
It's an interesting new design which groups the main functions around the central navigation controls.
It might seem like this would be fiddly to use, but with a bit of practice I've found it to be actually quite good.
    See: https://community.youview.com/youview/topics/new_bt_box_dtr_t2110 for pictures.
