    Ref 5000T
I switched on yesterday and it said, no recordings , yet it is over half full of recordings so I switched off for a short time and booted back up and all was fine until today.
Can’t access any recordings again at all today yet it shows my HD is between half and 3/4 full!
Don’t want to loose them so how can I access them again?
Tried a very short recording of Sky News and it recorded and played back ok.
Don’t want to contact Humax because it takes them a month to get anything sorted going by past experience with them!

Unplugged it for 20 mins and now have them all back again.
Surely Humax knows about this problem yet they continue to sell boxes without sorting it first! I had same problem off and on with my other Humax box which is over 2 years old but this one is only a few months old.
Why sell substandard equipment that is not 100% fit for the purpose it was bought for?
They are not the best company in the world at giving refunds or replacements and I should know as I’ve had reason to return something to them before and it took numerous emails, phone calls etc before they admitted they had received it back! Thought they might have changed but seemingly not.
Great little box but hoping it doesn’t happen again.
Does a factory reset delete all your recordings if it does?

If you have a lot of recordings it takes a little while to populate the list after a boot. No need to turn off, just leave it for about 30 seconds or so and try again.

I know, but it was in standby all night until I switched it on this morning to ding the no recordings message again. Left it for over half an hour watching itv and went back and found same thing that’s why I pulled the plug and waited before pushing it back in.
